The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is a statutory body established under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949, to regulate the profession of Chartered Accountants in India.

Operating under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, ICAI is the world’s second-largest professional accounting body, with over 360,000 members working across government, public, private, and social sectors globally.

ICAI – Melbourne (Australia) Chapter Inc

Established on 14 November 2006, ICAI – Melbourne (Australia) Chapter Inc., the first Australian chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), is a not-for-profit organisation registered in Victoria.

The Chapter represents Associate and Fellow members of ICAI and is committed to fostering professional development, facilitating meaningful networking opportunities, and supporting the growth and engagement of its members across Australia.
